We are having fun learning interesting facts about Forest Animals and doing Leaf Investigations. There are all types of animals that live in the forest, so far our class has learned about raccoons, owls and foxes. Next we will learn about turkeys! We enjoyed making animal prints on the playground, doing leaf /tree rubbings, and animal crafts. Did you know baby raccoons are called kits. Do you know what you call a baby owl? or a baby fox? Ask your child and see if they remember.
After a slightly rainy morning, we went on a nature hike to see if we could find animal tracks in the mud. We found a worm and a few friends thought an animal might of chewed the traffic cones (lol). We also tried walking like bears, squirrels and a moose!
