WEEK 6 This was our last week of SAIL. I hope your child enjoyed the time they spent with us...we certainly enjoyed seeing their smiles everyday! This past week we had fun ...
We practiced our Math and read a counting book about 5 little fishes then used dot markers to make our own fish.
We read a book about making sand castles and found out working together is more fun than working alone! Children used their fine motor skills to cut and glue paper to make a sand castle or random design (l0l).
Our last day we read a book called "Stay Cool at school", which talks about different emotions and how to keep your cool and CALM your body and emotions down....take breaths - count 1, 2, 3. All the children took home a book about an emotion/feeling. We made some "emotion" faces in shaving cream. We also used our face to show different emotions! Here is the link if you would like to listen to the story.
Thank you for sharing your children with us...we enjoyed our time together! Enjoy the rest of SUMMER!!! Mrs Baronas, Mrs. Papadakis and Ms Lake
